Medicare Supplements

Medicare Parts A and B provide insurance coverage for health-related expenses, but they don’t cover all of the health care costs you may have. That’s where a Medicare Supplement plan, sometimes called “Medigap,” might come in. A Medigap plan is a private insurance policy that can help pay for out-of-pocket expenses such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles.

Prescription Drug Plans

Prescription drug plans are commercial health insurance plans that help lower prescription costs in exchange for a monthly payment. As supplemental insurance plans that cover prescriptions only, these plans usually supplement Medicare coverage or other clinical care-only health insurance plans.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Hospital indemnity insurance supplements your existing health insurance coverage by helping pay expenses for hospital stays. Depending on the plan, hospital indemnity insurance gives you cash payments to help you pay for the added expenses that may come while you recover, based on the number of days of hospitalization covered. Even if your medical insurance covers most of your hospitalization, you can still receive payments from your hospital indemnity insurance plan for extra expenses while recovering.

Dental, Vision & Hearing Plans

A well-balanced health plan includes proper coverage for dental, vision, and hearing. In fact, many of today’s most pressing health issues originate from poor dental or vision health. And, poor hearing can cause a number of issues as well. If these important coverages are not included in your health plan, we can help provide you with excellent standalone dental, vision, and hearing insurance options.

Term Life Insurance

Term insurance is a type of life insurance policy that provides coverage for a certain period of time or a specified "term" of years. If the insured dies during the time period specified in a term policy and the policy is active, a death benefit will be paid to the named beneficiaries, usually tax-free.

Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance, which means the insured person is covered for the duration of their life as long as premiums are paid on time. Permanent life insurance is different than term life insurance, which covers the insured person for a set amount of time (usually between 10 and 30 years). Like most permanent life insurance policies, whole life also offers a savings component called "cash value."

Final Expense Insurance

Final expense insurance is a whole life insurance policy that has a small death benefit and is often easier to get approved for. Final expense insurance is also called “funeral insurance,” “burial insurance,” “simplified issue whole life insurance,” or “modified whole life insurance.” We believe you should prepare today to take this burden off your family members, and the companies we represent offer great rates, service and personal attention when someone passes away.

Indexed & Guaranteed Universal Life

Indexed universal life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance, which means it has a cash value component in addition to a death benefit. The money in your cash value account can earn interest based on a stock market index specified by your policy, such as the S&P 500 or the Nasdaq Composite. Funds don't earn a fixed rate of interest but typically come with an interest rate guarantee.

Guaranteed universal life insurance shares features of both permanent and term life insurance. Policies provide lifelong coverage and a guaranteed death benefit at a price that’s more affordable than other permanent life options. However, cash value accumulation is minimal.

Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs)

Fixed indexed annuities are a contract between you and an insurance company designed to provide you with a guaranteed monthly income based on the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the carrier. Benchmarked to an index like the S&P 500, the value can grow, but the FIA is not subject to market risk.

FIA contracts can be customized, and can include lifetime income which lasts as long as you live, a death benefit for heirs, coverage for a spouse, coverage for long-term care expenses if needed, and other features depending on client need.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans are private insurance policies that must follow rules set by Medicare. Medicare Advantage plans can replace Original Medicare Parts A, B, and sometimes D (prescription drugs). These plans sometimes even offer vision, hearing and dental coverage depending on the plan. You generally have to choose in-network providers, and you can make changes during open enrollment periods if you so choose, even returning back to Original Medicare. (Be sure to keep your red, white and blue card!)
